I enjoyed writing this chapter because, for the first time, I felt like I was drawing on a lot of my design patterns from previous chapters.

I'm glad the patterns I've created are turning out to be useful over and over again. It adds a nice sense of cohesiveness to the book.

My vendetta against quotation marks continues apace...

Monospace instead of quotes.
Italics instead of quotes.

...although quotation marks have won a few small skirmishes.

I'm calling a minor tactical withdrawal here.
